June was a great month! 16 silver coins, 7 Indian Head Pennies, 2 silver rings, some neat tokens and relics :-)
July 1st (Friday)
Hunt # 52: I have not been out 12 days... talk about needing a fix!
I hit a fiends house this afternoon... He has a nice sized garden and was picking me some radishes and sugar snap peas... I look down and in the tilled dirt...
I see a dime... shiny and I'm thinking new drop... then I see the date... its freeking silver... on the surface :-) SCORE!

Lots of trash to pick through from the decades of faming / house / barn activities...
This was a dime target at 2 inches...
1861 Springfield Toy...
Conductive of 12 @ 3-4 inches yields a no dater Buffalo...
This was a pretty solid 12/45 at 6 inches... I was not thinking copper...

July 4th (Monday)
Hunt # 53: Been a crazy 30 days for me with lots of work and personal activity... I just got back from a short vacation, but did have a chance to get some digs on July 4th before I left... I just got to process my recovered target and get some picture taken...
These recovered targets are from a site I hit a couple of times last year... Oddly enough... last time i was there it was 3 dimes as well... two from the same hole...
These were all single recoveries...

July 18th (Monday)
Hunt # 53: First Water Hunt - Talk about a fish out of water... or a land shark in water...
I am normally found on land with my Minelab E-Trac hauling up silver or coppers...but... I did purchase a White's Surf PI Dual Field... So... Gain @ 3pm... Delay @ 7pm... and Threshhold 11am range...
I meet up with a fellow detectorist from our club just past 5pm on the shore... It was low 80's, blue sky, and warm water :-)
90 minutes in with the tide moving out I was working a small cut where the
waves were breaking and nabbed some sterling .925...

Hunt # 53: It has been HOOOOOOOOT !!!
What was I thinking... I yeah... Hello my name is Paul and a MD'ing addict !! It was 100+ yesterday... but recently at a family get together a family member was talking about always enjoying seeing and reading about my find and suggest I come up some time as they live in a 1740's Colonial and have been there for 20 years... In that time no one had detected there... Concord, NH... 2.5 hours door to door... So plans were made... Today was ther day...
I arrived and got the tour and some history... This was one of the first 4 hours build in Concord near the Merrimack River... In fact their yard is sand sediment from being where the river used to flow...
Dry dry dry sand... Hot summer day with bonce dry sand I was worried about depth and pin pointing, but hey... ENJOY the journey right :-)
I started with 3 nickles close to the surface... then... 20 minutes in... I get a 45ish conductive tone @ 2"... I'm thinking new dime...
